This program is designed to prepare you for entry into the field of agriculture and related occupations. The agriculture industry provides jobs that require workers with a wide range of knowledge and skill. The curriculum will teach you basics in theory, principles, and techniques employed by the agricultural industry.

These programs prepare the student with a range of skill and knowledge useful for jobs in agriculture and related occupations. The agriculture industry provides a variety of employment opportunities, ranging from ones requiring minimal skills to ones requiring complex knowledge and decision-making skills. If you continue in your education and transfer into a bachelor's degree program, you can then work for a number of industries, including insurance, agricultural research, and agricultural supply/repair companies.

You can earn an associate of applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
This degree transfers to four-year institutions. Work with your Program Coordinator on courses that transfer best.
