Office Systems Technology

Do you like people and machines? Are you reliable? Good at working with people? Have a variety of business skills? If you like modern office equipment and work well with customers and fellow employees, this may be the field for you. Our program prepares you to work with people, processes and technologies in retail, education, government, legal, insurance, and other offices. Our diverse curriculum provides work experience, certificates, diplomas and degrees.

Employment Opportunities

You will look for jobs like administrative assistant, office assistant, office manager, and financial assistant. These workers use office technology and computers to deliver accurate communication and to exchange information on a timely basis.

Admission Requirements

This program has no special admission requirements. Please consult HCC’s general admission requirements.

Length of Program

The AAS degree in Office Systems Technology-Administrative is 63 credits and should take about two years to complete.

Opportunities for More Education

You can transfer your two-year degree to other institutions to receive a bachelor's degree: work with your Program Coordinator and an advisor from your university of choice.
