Intramural and Activities Student Assistant
Office of Diversity Programs & Engagement announces a Federal Work Study (FWS) Student Assistant position in Intramurals and Student Activities for Fall 2016. The Student Assistant’s primary responsibilities will include management and implementation of intramural and recreational activities for students. However, these activities will also engage faculty and staff on special occasions and annual events.
Duties include but are not limited to coordinating and facilitating the following:
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must qualify for Federal Work Study (FWS), be in good standing with the college and have a 2.3 cumulative GPA or higher. A Federal Work Study (FWS) packet must be completed with HCC’s Office of Financial Aid and a résumé provided. The inclusion of a letter of interest is highly encouraged.
Additionally, applicants also must demonstrate good time management and customer service skills, general knowledge of organizing small-scale tournaments, and work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
The maximum number of hours per week is 18.75 at a rate of $7.50/hour (hours may vary based on needs of the college and student’s class schedule).
