Credit for Prior Learning

In recognizing that learning takes place in varied places – not just in the classroom of a college – MCTC has designed a process that allows students to earn up to 20 college credit hours for the skills they have received on-the-job or through other experiences. It is important to note that Credit for Prior Learning is not a guarantee that credit will be awarded; rather Credit for Prior Learning is a process that creates the opportunity for review of relevant skills in consideration for college credit.
