Registration is now open for all of HCC's summer youth programs! For complete program information -- including course descriptions and registration instructions -- see the program announcements below.
To register: 1) Complete the registration form on the program announcement; 2) Complete the insurance form; 3) Copy your proof of insurance card; and 4) Submit your registration form, insurance form, and a copy of your insurance card with the appropriate registration fee for each student to the Workforce Solutions office in Auditorium Room 13 at HCC.
A limited number of scholarships are available for KICCS. To apply for a scholarship: 1) Complete the scholarship application form; 2) Obtain a letter of recommendation from a teacher; and 3) Submit your application form and recommendation letter to HCC no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013.
Registration is now open! KICCS is an interactive summer camp designed to inspire a love of learning and help students discover opportunities provided by a college education. More than 5000 students from across the mid-south have attended KICCS since it was launched in 1991. Participants are treated like real college students -- complete with freshman orientation, personalized class schedules, and graduation. Every class features hands-on activities to make learning fun! Each KICCS camp meets for five half-days from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. HCC offers five weeks of KICCS each summer. Students can register for any number of weeks.

Registration is now open! New in 2013, HCC will offer two Career Craze camps to give students the opportunity to explore technical careers during four activity-packed afternoons led by college faculty. Students may participate in an Agriculture Career Craze or a Manufacturing Career Craze. There is no fee to participate. Enrollment is limited.

Registration is now open! Club Invention is an exciting summer where students are immersed in activity-oriented adventures to enhance their creative problem-solving skills. Club Invention supplements and reinforces the traditional school day by providing a safe, creative outlet for extended learning. This year's camp features two all new modules -- "Bolder Builders" and "Physics in Motion." Club Invention is provided by HCC in cooperation with the Christian County Public Schools.

Registration for 2013 Holiday Super Saturday will open in November. Hopkinsville Community College and Christian County Public Schools are pleased to host Holiday Super Saturday, a jolly morning of learning and creativity for students in kindergarten through grade six. Students will choose one workshop to attend from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on HCC's campus. The registration fee includes all classroom supplies and a snack.

The 2014 dates for Saturday Scholars have not been set. Watch this space for updates. Hopkinsville Community College and Christian County Public Schools are pleased to host Saturday Scholars, a series of Saturday classes for academically talented students in grades one through eight. This program is open to all students in western Kentucky who meet one of the five certification criteria. Classes meet on HCC's campus on three Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The registration fee includes all classroom supplies, a snack and a Saturday Scholars t-shirt.Students choose one class for their grade level to attend for all three weeks. Classes feature academic topics presented in a format that encourages student involvement and promotes academic rigor. Saturday Scholars classes incorporate hands-on learning and develop critical thinking. Each class offers an opportunity for high ability students to explore an academic area of interest in a nurturing environment with other bright students and an exceptional instructor who enjoys being an educator.Spring 2013 Saturday Scholars Dates -- February 23, March 2 and March 9Spring 2013 Saturday Scholars Registration Fee -- $65 per student (covers all three Saturdays)
